And I love this side/hall table. It may not look much now but this would be stunning in either white or perhaps turquoise for a splash of colour!

Mirrors galore. How beautiful are the large ones. I have seen some beautiful rooms with massive ornate mirrors leaning against the wall. I love the mixture of elegance and casualness it brings.

I am still enjoying my contract project, but I'm missing my normal life. I've now worked long, long hours for nine days straight which may not sound much but it's been pretty full on and stressful. The good thing is it is making me appreciate my normal, balanced life even more than I already did.
So many of you have sent me the loveliest messages and emails (and I've even had several phone calls) sending me good luck messages for this crazy project and saying you'll bear with me while I'm not blogging as often. Thanks for that, it really means a lot.
I'm hoping to do some furniture painting on the weekend...and some baking and lots of cuddles with my kids (and my husband!)

ReplyDeleteI love these posts! Seeing them items ready for sale is a great motivator to get out there and find some treasures. And I love that butchers block too, I think the colour is gorgeous, I don't think I'd want to change it at all.
Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging, don't worry we will still be here when your current project is over. Just don't spread yourself too thin. xT
