I have for the better part of a year bitching and carrying on about the TOTAL lack of items here that are available in other countries - espwhen it comes to furniture and finishes! I have had a bit of a try using burnt umber paint in clear water based poly as a glaze. It seems to work quite well and doesn't dry to fast.
