French Kitchen Inspiration

I have a couple of projects underway but nothing of my own to share so I thought I'd show some of the kitchens that I drew inspiration from when I was designing my own kitchen.

Unfortunately I don't have some of the sources for these photos as I'd saved them into a file on my computer long before I was blogging. If anyone has any of the sources please let me know.

I love the rangehood in this one

gorgeous industrial style cabinet
I found this photo below at Provincial Kitchens after I'd chosen my colour scheme but it was great to see that what I wanted would work! I spoke to Provincial Kitchens and they said this kitchen below has since been painted black! Shame really....

also from the above source

below is a bit more industrial - gorgeous lights and clock

The next 2 are so similar (although I'm not so much a fan of stools at island benches)

Love the rangehood below and those skylights/sloping windows
Source above is possibly The Kitchen House I think?

Love all this crockery!
Is this Martha Stewart's?

And I love the beadboard on the rangehood below although I didnt end up doing this.

See here for what I ended up with!

  1. Hi Fiona, love these kitchen images but your kitchen is just as beautiful if not more.
We are back from Melbourne and had a blast. Lots of shopping and too much drinking. Now its time to do get back to work. Hope your sales have been going well? Sandy x

  2. Love them all. The third last photo is from Country Home magazine - I have it in my inspiration file too!

  3. Those are flippin' gorgeous kitchens! I can't believe that one has been painted black - I love it white! What a fun post - JenT

  4. I would LOVE to know where the bar stools from the pic 'also from the above source' are from! They would be so perfect for what I need. Lovely blog :) Pip.

    1. hi Pip - thanks for that, glad you like my blog. the kitchen in that photo is by Provincial Kitchens in Sydney. You should be able to call them and ask where the stools are from. The kitchen is the Alfred St one. http://www.provincialkitchens.com.au/timeless_alfred_street.php#n
      cheers Fiona

    2. would love to know where to get pendant lights!!!
