Hello from Lilyfield on a lovely autumnal evening. We have had a relaxed weekend and are all refreshed for the week ahead. Some good news is that I am a finalist in the Local Business awards. Thank you everyone for your votes, it really meant a lot. I’m not sure if I’ll go much further as the competition criteria really favours shops. I needed to submit a photo of myself with my products and so Phil snapped this photo of me yesterday morning just before this sideboard was shipped to Brisbane.
The sideboard is a lovely one. A beautiful serpentine front vintage French piece. It was a horrible yellow when I got it with green details so I couldn’t wait to get the primer on it. I love this two tone grey finish.
This sideboard is off to Queensland to a lovely customer whose been wanting a sideboard from me for ages. So pleased she fell in love with this one.
I also wanted to share a couple of photos from the weekend. Jonty sewed a cute little seal toy that he designed himself. He googled an image and then made a design from it. It’s for a big project he has been doing on the effects of plastics on marine life.
And some photos of my gorgeous girl this afternoon at Barangaroo. Such a lovely afternoon to get out and about.
Have a great Sunday evening. I’m off to do the ironing :)
