Oak bench seat in navy

Good morning, I love this time of year with the sun a little lower in the sky giving us beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Even though we are at home we have Callan Park at our door step to walk in.

I have been doing lots of work still and yesterday painted a lovely old oak bench seat.

How cute is Charlie.

This seat is really similar to one I did about a month ago. And everyone loved it so I decided to paint this one navy as well.

Such great pieces for a hallway with the storage inside. I love the umbrella holders on the sides also. Isn’t it just wonderful that people still want these old pieces and that they get to live on.

Have a lovely day. Hope you get to do something you love.  I am working on a desk today which are also in great demand with so many people working from home at the moment.

  1. Really done nice! I would want something on the floor for the umbrellas to drip into when wet.

  2. WOW! These pieces look fantastic Fiona! I'm really loving navy paint at the moment, and recently did our bureau with it, it looks fab! Never seen a bench with umbrella stands before, so will be looking out for one now.

    Keep safe.

  3. First of all, the view, which is one the first picture, is breathtaking. Talking about the bench, I guess, that this bench will be very expensive, if you decide to buy it in a store.
