Wooden Vintage Kitchen Dresser

vintage kitchen dresser by Lilyfield Life

Hello lovelies, If you have have a thing for vintage furniture and old blue and white stained glass windows then you have come to the right place. I have another beautiful vintage kitchen dresser to show you and this one is for sale.  This is a real beauty and has been in my parents' house forever. My step father was a dairy farmer originally and he had many beautiful old pieces of furniture that would have looked perfectly at home on the farm.

I am selling this piece on behalf of my siblings as none of us have room for it in our houses. It is in such beautiful condition and has stored our parents' crystal wine glasses. Many a fun evening has been had involving wine and  crystal wine glasses, most of which my brother won at golf - he could have been a pro golfer but took another career path.

I love this photo below - a little bokeh anyone?
My passions are family and friends, furniture, paint and photography.
I love how I can combine them for my blog

This cabinet is big and would offer fantastic storage. Mum has kept this piece beautiful oiled and the wood is lovely. Mum was such a perfectionist - all her furniture gleamed, her silverware sparkled, even her sinks were shiny so you can rest assured this piece of furniture has been looked after.

The dresser has a central ice box and original mesh sides. The hardware is all original and in good condition. My favourite part though is the blue lead light stained glass doors.

  1. What a beautiful piece Fiona, I love the first photo where you must have put something white behind the glass - you can just see how it would pop if it was painted white.

Shame you don't have room for it :(

My mother is an immaculate housekeeper too, I wish a little more of that had rubbed of on me although I do try...it is just usually that the paintbrush calls me louder than the vacuum cleaner! Embarrassing story: I cleaned my kitchen floor on Friday properly for the first time since we moved here almost a year ago. Oh don't worry I have steam mopped it lots, but this was the first time I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the grout between the tiles, which was black when we moved in, and stayed that way. OMG what a difference a couple of hours scrubbing made...the grout is now back to white sand colour and it looks like a whole new floor, lol! Do you still want to be my friend after hearing that? LOL!
