Some pieces don't need painting

Good morning! I am settling back in a normal working routine after the Coastrek walk last Friday. I'll keep up the walking but won't have to fit in a twice weekly 15-22 km walk. The actual walk last Friday was 30km (we weren't up for the 60km event) and it was such a brilliant day. We walked from Kirribilli to Bondi all around the Harbour and South Head. Sydney is so beautiful.

The photo below was taken at 17.5km (crossing the footbridge at Parsley Bay) and we were still smiling.

The weather was a bit rough but it made for spectacular scenery and at least we weren't hot walking.

This was at the start line but we were looking pretty much the same at the end.  but we did head straight across the road to the pub for a drink - medicinal you know:)

I will keep up the training as I am loving feeling fitter again and am slowly losing the weight I've gained over the last 6 years. So much weight to lose but at least it's a start. argghhh...I get so cross at myself that I gained so much weight and haven't been disciplined. I'll let you know how I go.

I know you are here for the furniture and usually painted furniture at that but today I've got some pieces that really didn't need painting. While they would look amazing in a pale aged grey, I decided to see if I could sell them with just cleaning them up. They sold immediately with a long line of interested parties so it seems a lot of people felt they didn't need painting.

I bought this set from a lovely European couple who have downsized from a large traditional house to a very modern home in Hunters Hill. They are changing all their decor which to be honest I couldn't even contemplate doing at 87 but all the best to them and good fortune to Lilyfield Life buyers as they are just beautiful.

This morning I'm finishing up a gorgeous little piece, timber and white which I always love. Keep an eye for it on social media as I'll be listing it for sale sometime today. Progress pic below.

have a good day
