I can help you paint furniture

Hi everyone, Firstly welcome if you are new here. I really appreciate you all stop by to read my blog and see what I have been up to. I also really appreciate your comments and emails (especially when you buy my furniture!).

However I've been a bit overloaded lately with people asking emailing with lots of specific questions about painting their own furniture or from people starting up their own painted furniture business. While I am happy to help I where I can and up to a point, I thought it might be a good time to remind people that I have written an extensive list of detailed DIY tutorials particularly about painting and making your house a home. They can be found on the tutorial tab here.

If you could possibly read these posts first before writing to me as much of the information you are all seeking is found on those pages.

Also most of my before and after posts have a step by step instruction on how I achieved that particular look. That should help you also.

I love that I can inspire you to give painting a go and I can help you with your projects but it's just me here at Lilyfield Life, I paint lots of furniture, work my business consultancy and also have young kids (and a lovely husband) so it will save me a lot of time if you could read these tutorials before emailing me.

If you can't find the answers you need by all means email me for advice. Thank you once again, I don't want to scare off anyone from contacting me but I just need to manage my time a little better going forward and this will help.

yours in paint

  4. You go girl! I hear ya. You have some great tutorials too. It's one of the down sides to blogs though, that they all just get lost in the system of blog history. Good on you for being organised and having a tutorial page link! I must do that sometime ...
