Clovelly to Coogee Coastal Walk

Sydney is magnificent in spring and we are making the most of it. On Father's Day we had breakfast at home and then headed over to Clovelly to walk along the coast past Gordons Bay to Coogee and back. It's not very far but it absolutely packs a punch full of natural beauty.

Come with us...

Gordons Bay is a relatively secluded little spot that is very picturesque. When the water is warmer I'd like to come swimming here. The water is a beautiful colour.

hundreds of British backpackers in Coogee but you can understand why they congregate here.
Why wouldn't you?

You can keep walking all the way to La Perouse but we stopped for lunch on the foreshore and walked back to Clovelly. Enough for the kids for one morning.

...and a hot little Charlie! He's now been shorn and is much more comfortable in this warm spring weather.

Do you love walking along the coast?
Have you been swimming in the ocean yet?
Is it still freezing? I think I might wait a few months yet.

  1. Thanks for the wonderful walk! I visited Sydney a few years ago and didn't get out of the city. Now I wish we did!

  2. Oh how I wish hubby had been offered a job at a Sydney university rather than one in Melbourne. Those beach views are wonderful.

    1. Melbourne has it's charms also but not the vibrancy of Sydney. We just have to make sure we get out and enjoy it!
